Ideal SBA organizes a Pitch Contest to present your business ideas and turn them into a reality.  We support young startups with modern solutions for today’s complex lives to realise their ideas and turn them into real-world solutions.

The start-up impressing us the most would have an opportunity to win prize money of up to $15,000.

Eligibility

You are eligible, if you are having

• an early stage prototype or

• an early stage business model

You should be located within 50 miles radius of Atlantic County and your business is based in the United States.

Who Would Be The Best Fit?

If your business is able to meet the following criteria, ·  

• It solves a real market need where there is a need gap which people are willing to pay for

• There is an element of differentiation in your business which is unique to the market.

• There is a clear revenue-generating business model to expand with

• It addresses a sizeable market opportunity

Time Duration

 12-week training program and an in-person pitch competition as the Grand finale of the Ideal SBA ‘Chart It’ Pitch competition (if selected)

Awards

The cash reward distribution would be as follows:

Winner: Cash Reward of $15,000

First Runner-Up: Cash Reward of $4,000

Second Runner-Up: Cash Reward of $1,000

Stages of the Event

Phase 1

Duration: 8 weeks, online

• Learn to communicate your ideas to all stakeholders effectively.

• Develop a compelling Business Pitch

• Effective use of models and tools in your business

• Understand your customer and their needs more effectively

A comprehensive questionnaire at the end of the 8 weeks would decide if you would move to the next stage.

Phase 2

Duration: 2 weeks, recording would be done in Ideal SBA studios.

Record and share your audio-video elevator pitch of not more than 2 minutes for the jury to check on.

Your elevator pitch should have the following pointers:

• The Organisation Vision and Mission.

• Product/Service/Offering towards this Vision/Mission

• Market Definition – Your Total Addressable Market and Target Audience

• Resources and Funds required to achieve this vision.

The result would be declared after 5 days of submission. The top 10 teams will move on to the next stage.

Phase 3

Duration: 1 day, offline event

Deliver your pitch in 20 minutes to the jury and answer the questions they may have. 

Results

The results would be declared on the same day when we have Phase 3.

Jury

The Judges would be eminent individuals from our partner Angel Investor Networks.
